Muscat: The Ministry of Labour (MoL) has clarifed that the videos and posts currently circulating on some social media platforms regarding a midday work ban at construction or open sites are not in effect as of this date.
The midday work ban is implemented annually from June until the end of August, during the period from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
The Ministry urged everyone to obtain information from official sources and to refrain from circulating or publishing any inaccurate information that may cause confusion in the community.
